Fortun£ Friday$: April Edition Won by Iranian International Master!

Our eleventh free-to-play April edition was a highly competitive event, attracting 162 players from 55 countries! The tournament featured some of the world’s top titled players, including 3 Grandmasters (GMs), 9 International Masters (IMs), 5 FIDE Masters (FMs), 1 Candidate Master (CM), and over 140 non-titled players.

Iranian International Master Reza Mahdavi emerged victorious, finishing with 119 points and an impressive 73% win rate!

This marked the 20th edition of the Fortun£ Friday$ series.

Top 3 Finishers

First Place – IM Reza Mahdavi (@tamojerry) – This marks his first-ever Fortun£ Friday$ title!

Second Place – IM Renato Alfredo Terry Lujan (@AngelitoRT) – A very strong IM who has finished in the top 10 in many Fortun£ Friday$ tournaments.

Third Place – GM Dmitry Andreikin (@Vladimirovich9000) – A Russian super-grandmaster who has also finished in the top 10 in many Fortun£ Friday$ tournaments.
