Prize Eligibility

Eligibility for Cash & Wing Prizes:

  • To be eligible for these prizes, players must join our Discord before the event begins and remain in the Discord when winners are contacted. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited. (This does not apply to titled players.)

FIDE ID Requirement:

  • Players who finish in the top 3 and win a prize must provide their FIDE ID in order to receive their winnings. Failure to do so will result in the prize being withheld. If the FIDE ID is not provided within 14 days of the request, the prize will be forfeited.

Fair Play & Prize Distribution

Fair Play Assurance:
The tournament will be monitored by a world-leading FIDE Arbiter. Any players caught by our cheat detection system will be banned from future events and forfeit any prize money.

Prize Distribution:
Winners will be contacted via Lichess for PayPal details, and prizes will be sent accordingly.

Prize Payout Timeline:
All cash prizes and Lichess Wings will be paid or delivered on the Sunday one week after the tournament start date, unless otherwise instructed by the organiser.

Prize Forfeiture Policy:
Players have one month to claim their prize after notification. After this period, prizes are forfeited.

Ranking Adjustments:
If a player is disqualified after the event (e.g., account closure or fair play violation), players will move up accordingly in the final standings, and prizes will be reallocated. This follows standard tournament practice.

Organiser Rights:
The organiser reserves the right to remove players, reduce the prize fund, or make adjustments regarding prize payments or any aspect of the event, before, during, or after the tournament, at their discretion.
