My chess plan for 2025
Plan for achieving the goalIntroduction
A few months ago, after a two-month break from chess, I passed a ranking of 1900 in rapid chess on chess.com. I was very excited that I was only 100 points away from the magic 2000 barrier, and I thought it would take me a month to reach that ranking. Unfortunately it turned out to be harder than I thought. Currently my ranking is hovering around 1900. It's been three months and I haven't made any progress.

Reasons for lack of progress
The reason for the lack of progress could be a lack of proper training. I don't like to do tactical tasks, so I often have problems with tactics. My training consists practically only of playing games and quick analysis with the computer. I also watch broadcasts of chess tournaments and chess videos on the Internet. During this time I also kept changing openings because I couldn't find the right one for me.
Conclusion and new training plan
As a result I have decided that I need to completely change my chess routine.
First of all I need to create a proper training plan that will help me train chess properly. I also need to build up a strong opening repertoire, as at the moment I only know the basics of various openings. Of course I need to start solving chess puzzles, after all tactics are very important. Lately I have also noticed a lack of knowledge of basic endings (the problem is mainly with rook endings). Strategically I am quite a good player, although in many positions I have trouble coming up with a game plan.
Taking all this into account I will make a training plan. Of course, training alone will not ensure my progress. The most important thing is practice, which means playing games. I would like to play a game every day at a tempo of 10+5 or 15+10, depending on my free time.
In addition to this I should play a game at classical tempo (at least 30+20 tempo) at least once a week and analyse it thoroughly - first a non-engine analysis in which I write down all the variants I thought of during the game and add my own comments on the positions, and then check all the variants with the computer and add the ones I didn't see.
Ending
I'm hoping that by doing this I can finally make progress and reach a ranking of 2000 on chess.com. If you have any tips for me then feel free to post a comment or send me a private message.
