Zugzwang (part 2).
The first part is on my blog, but in Russian.Disclaimer.
This post is one of my ideas. I hope you will enjoy. Let's go!
Zugzwang.
What is zugzwang itself? Zugzwang is a position where there is no good move, i.e. all moves lead either to defeat, or to a lost position. Today I will show you a great example of zugzwang that happened to me in one of today's games.

(Whites - me, Blacks - opponent)
Perhaps I should have moved after 1.Qe3+ Rf2, but then 2.Qe1+, Rf1 , Qg3+ , Kh1 , and Kh3. Or Kg2 but followed by Qe2, Rf2 and Qe2
This is an intermediate, but at the same time dangerous move. Because of him, another example of zugzwang happened in this variation. But perhaps you can put a draw by repeating the position three times.
Namely:Rf1, Qe2+, Rf2, Qe1...
But it may also be that the opponent sees this and does not agree to a stalemate.
For example, he moved Qd3, then: Kh2, Qd4, Kg2...
This is also a threefold repetition of the position ... it will be if he does not notice it again.
This concludes my analysis. Thank you for your attention!
