Opening is like a home out of buildings

Opening Repository for club players

Opening
Target Group: ELO 1500-1800

As I am learning new openings, I create an opening repertoire and share it here.
The linked study only displays the first 5 moves.
I select the first 5 moves based on my experience.
Fewer than 5 moves might miss the main idea,
while more than 5 moves require more time to practice and remember the opening repertoire.

Black against d4

...d5, c4 Albin Counter-gambit

The Queen's Gambit is played as 1.d4, - 2.c4,
a common opening used by intermediate players.
Characteristics: Gambiting a pawn to gain control of the center of the board.
Black has two main options in response to the Queen's Gambit:
Accept the gambit: Black captures the c4 pawn to gain material advantage, but may weaken control of the center;
Decline the gambit: Prioritize consolidating the center rather than greedily sacrificing the pawn.
This article recommends declining the sacrifice and using Albin's counter-gambit.
