The 2021 National Chess Championship (NCC) is an elite national championship event, featuring 20 of the strongest chess players in Nigeria (10 men and 10 women). Over the course of nine rounds, these competitors will battle for the coveted title of 2021 Nigeria Chess Champion. The event will take place from November 9th to November 14th, in Lagos, Nigeria.

The time control is 90 minutes for the entire game with an addition of 30 seconds (increment) per move starting from move one.
