This is a 12-player Round Robin tournament held at Cascadia Hotel and Conference Centre, St. Anns, starting on 9th September and ending on 30th September 2023. The 12 players qualified from four open Swiss System qualifiers held in Arima, Port of Spain, Scarborough, and San Fernando. The San Fernando qualifier was a hybrid event open to overseas players, where one player (and arbiter) joined from Toronto, Canada.

The time control is 90 minutes for the entire game, with a 30-second increment from move one per player.
