I teach several after school programmes in the Carlow area. I have given private lessons to students ranging from 5 year olds to 65 year olds of all skill levels. My students have cumulatively won 3 national medals at various age groups.

I have a strong positional sense which I hope to impart onto my students. After analysing your self annotated games I can effectively identify what areas we should work on in order to improve your results.

After looking over your games I will determine the weaknesses in your game and the gaps in your understanding. This will dictate what we work on together. We will mainly analyse your games and master games that are thematically relevant.

Lesson plans will be tailored to your specific needs to ensure we improve the areas that need to be improved. I am available 24/7 to answer any questions or queries. If you wish we can play training games. Homework is provided unless requested otherwise.
