About me

Hello, dear chess friends! I am Alimpic Aleksa. I am Fide Master with the highest elo of 2313. I am from Belgrade, Serbia. I am a professional chess coach with experience of around 1.5 years both over the board and online. Ages and levels are not important. I have coaching programs for all chess levels from total beginners to titled players with ambitions. Check out my website: alexchessacademy.com . Please feel free to contact me by E-mail: alimpicbusiness@gmail.com or you can DM me here on lichess.

Playing experience

I started playing chess at the age of 8. I became FIDE Master at the age of 17.
Serbian Youth Champion
I currently play Serbian, Bosnian, and Republic of Srpska leagues.
I have won many rapid and blitz tournaments in my career.

Teaching experience

I started coaching chess about 1.5 years ago both with kids and adults.
I can provide advice to everybody, from beginners to strong players who want to reach their goals and titles.
Some of my students won local championships in their age group and I feel huge joy seeing my students make remarkable progress!

Other experiences

I worked on many projects in the promotion of chess among all age groups.
I am always free to give someone a piece of advice.
In my free time, I study chess openings, read books, and go to the gym.

Best skills

I specialize in:
✔️ Building the opening repertoire and finding opening novelties.
✔️ Finding a plan using Strategy.
✔️ Sharping your tactical eye
✔️ Endgames (Basic & Advanced)
✔️ Analyzing games and fixing mistakes (Showing you what should you play, Psychological factors...)
✔️ Develop intuition and efficiency in gameplay.
✔️ Help students to improve time management during the game.
✔️ Staying motivated and constantly improving.

Teaching methodology

I hold lessons via Skype and I use the Lichess study tool.
During the first class, I test my student’s knowledge and abilities. Then, I work with him on areas that he needs the most improvement. After every class, I give homework to my students, and on the next class, we check it together.
I have friendly communication and a good relationship with my students so that they can relax and enjoy learning new things.
I work on different areas:
✔️ Building repertoire and finding fresh new opening ideas
✔️ Middlegame Ideas/ Strategy
✔️ Sharping your tactical eye
✔️ Endgames (Basic & Advanced)
✔️ Game analysis and preparation for opponents
