Playing experience

I have been playing chess for more than 9 years and have achieved many notable results, including:

International Master at age 15

Represented the Netherlands three times at the European Youth Championship

Represented the Netherlands once at a World Youth Championship

Dutch Open Champion in 2024

Fourth place at the Dutch Championship in 2025

Defeated more than 10 Grandmasters

Teaching experience

I have given a group training session for players of different levels and have written two opening courses on Chessflow.org.

Best skills

My main strengths in chess are tactics, calculation, and opening preparation. I have spent many hours solving puzzles, playing blitz, and preparing against strong opponents.

Teaching methodology

The first lesson is free to see if we're a good fit. We will play a practice game so I can assess your strengths and weaknesses . From there, I will provide tailored advice and exercises. Lessons will focus heavily on calculation and tactics, as these are fundamental for a strong game, and we will build a simple but solid opening repertoire.

I believe that consistent practice and dedication are the keys to improving at chess.
