Hello,
Myself FIDE Master Arnav Maheshwari. I have two IM norms and my peak rating is 2328. I am an active player with a lot of ideas and experience. I’ve been playing chess since 2014 — almost 11 years!

I hail from the chess capital of India, Chennai, and have studied and played alongside many talented players who are now strong GMs and IMs.
Finally, I’ve decided to share my chess experience and knowledge both as a coach and as a training partner. So if you're ready to take a ride from being a beginner to checkmating a Grandmaster, then bingo — you're at the right place!

I am currently accepting students of all levels.
My coaching fee is 20 USD per hour with bulk discounts available.
I also play training games for 20 USD per session. Each session lasts around 1–1.5 hours.
Group sessions are also available based on the students’ strength.

I have been an active player since last 10 years, but I recently found my passion in coaching.

I have worked with some of my friends (I treat my students as friends :) ) and helped them fulfill their shortcomings and improve their game.

I have been regularly working with them and providing them practical advices and feedbacks based on their daily games which brings the best out of them

Chess has given me the incredible opportunity to travel internationally, representing and exploring the game in countries like Malaysia, Armenia, UAE, Serbia, Finland, Poland and Uzbekistan . These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of the game but also enriched my perspective as a coach.

I'm a sharp tactician with strong calculation skills, backed by a structured method that has helped both me and my students succeed in competitive play.
I bring a deep understanding of positional and strategic concepts, making complex positions easier to grasp and navigate.

As a coach, I focus on fun, interactive, and inclusive lessons that build both skill and passion for the game. Whether you're aiming to improve your tactics, calculation, or overall understanding, I’m here to guide your journey.

I offer a structured teaching method with focus on all types to trainings in every session. This helps my students develop strong tactical vision as well as good positional insights.

My teaching involves more of student involvement, putting them in tournament like situation, so that they get similar experience to the real game.

Also, I give regular homeworks along with elaborate feedbacks, so that the students can stay in touch with the game even when we are not having sessions
