About me
My name is Beloslava Krasteva, and I am a WGM with a peak rating of 2350. I am from Bulgaria, but I have been studying Finance in the USA for the past two years. I am a professional chess player and, more recently, a coach. I am ambitious and hard-working, always striving to improve both myself and my students in what I love most! I am passionate about working with chess enthusiasts, no matter their level.
Playing experience
I have been playing chess since I was seven years old. I achieved my WGM title at the age of 18. Among my top achievements are winning bronze at the World Junior Chess Championship in 2023 and being a two-time medalist at the European Youth Individual Championships. I am a European champion as a member of the Bulgarian national team, which won the European Team Chess Championship in 2023. I have represented my country in two Chess Olympiads. More recently, I was a member of the best collegiate team in the United States, which won the 2024 Pan-American Championship. Currently, I am aiming to climb higher in the women’s world rankings.
