I have been playing chess for more than 9 years now, having learned at 10 years old. I have played countless internation tournaments, including being a member of the Panamanian Olympic team, playing in the 2024 World Chess Olympiad in Budapest, Hungary as well as in the 2022 U‑16 World Youth Chess Olympiad, in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. I am actively training to improve my own chess, and would love to help you do the same!

I have over 5 years of experience giving group lessons for students from beginner kids to intermediate adults, as well as personalized coaching for advanced players. I specialize in coaching players rated up to 2000, helping them overcome any barriers which might stunt their growth.

My main skill over the board is a strong will to win. Fighting spirit. Your opponents can always make mistakes, and you must know how to make use of them. I will build a similar mindset in you.

In the beggining, I will closely look at your past games to draw conclusions not only about your weaknesses (which of course we will rapidly neutralize), but also your playing style, tendancies, and strong points. The lessons will all be personalized, based on your needs and requests. We will build a plan to make sure you improve fast.
