Started playing at 13, which is old by todays standards is ancient but then, it was pretty young. While in high shcool I played in three local chess clubs a week.Played regularly for years at the Boylston CC in Boston. I, like many of manyAmericans, was a disciple of Bobby Fischer. I consider his emotional collaspe as one of Chess' great trajedies.

Doing and working of problems/positions. Ireally like Lazlo Polgar's problem book With some game examinations but to be honest I not big on going over games for various reasons which are really too detailed to explain here.
