About me
Simon Lamaze, 19yo Frenchman. Chess mostly distracts me from becoming an engineer, yet I don't intend to stop. Hoping that you may find it as beautiful as I do.
Playing experience
I became FM in 2021 and won that year the International Open of Villlard de Lans. I got the title of International Master in 2023. I won 4 Youth French Championships titles in categories U14, U16, U18 and U20.
Teaching experience
I've been teaching chess online for 4 years now, and had several pupils in the first 5 of French Youth championships.
Other experiences
I've also taught math to several high-school students, whether chess is similar to math is for you to decide.

Teaching methodology
I mostly use Discord and Lichess for lessons, and usually give a bunch of practice exercicses if needed. I highly recommend chess litterature.
