My name is Marcos Ortiz, and I am a passionate and dedicated National Master of Nicaragua. My competitive spirit has taken me across the world, from Hungary to Azerbaijan, Türkiye to Norway, and across the Americas from Mexico to Panama.

• Over 15 years of international chess representation for Nicaragua.
• Achieved Absolute National Champion titles in 2022 and 2013.
• Secured Absolute National Runner-up Champion in 2025, 2024, 2016, and 2012.
• Long-standing member of the Absolute National Team for 15 years.
