I learned chess from my dad when I was 4 years old. Since then it has been a huge part of my life which eventually earned me the title of Grandmaster. Projects include being a professional chessplayer, Chessable Author and chess.com commentator. Besides chess I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Utrecht. After earning my University degree in Psychology in 2013, I played chess professionally for many years. Some of my most memorable results include: Topscorer of the 2012/13 Dutch competition with 8,5 out of 9 and a TPR of 2887, 2nd place at the Dutch National Championship 2022, Shared 3rd place at the Dutch National Championship of 2023. Winner of the Open Leiden chesstournament in 2008, 2016 and 2018, Shared winner of the Mumbai Open in 2018.
