Playing experience

I have been playing chess for the last 16 years, and I have played many tournaments in India and abroad. I have played a tournaments in countries that include Sweden, Austria, UAE, Malaysia, Romania, Netherlands, Croatia, Spain, the Czech Republic, France, Brazil, Vietnam, Hungary, Russia, Azerbaijan, Poland, Germany, Greece, Austria, Qatar, Serbia etc. Following are some of my best (international level) performances.

1- Got Intenrational Master title in 2025
2- Participated in the 2018 FISU World University Chess Championship 2018 at Aracaju, Brazil
3- Got FIDE Master Title from the International Chess Federation in January 2019
4-Scored 6 IM Norms during 2019-2025
-1st norm at Chennai International Grandmaster chess tournament in January 2018
-2nd norm at Czech Pardubice open tournament in July 2019
-3rd norm at Zadar open, Croatia in December 2019
-4th norm at Czech Pardubice Open Tournament 2022
-5th norm at Qatar Masters Open 2023
-6th norm at Dubai Police Global Masters 2024

Teaching experience

Over the past five years, I have gained extensive teaching experience, having taught over 75 students from various countries around the world. The majority of my students have come from India, USA, Qatar, UAE, China, Norway and Canada

Following are major success stories as a chess coach

Advik Agarwal: I began training him in March 2024 when his FIDE rating was 1776. As of July 2025, his rating has improved to 2251.

Jackson Scamehorn: I have been teaching him since February 2024. He has gained a total of 500 USCF rating points and is currently rated 1964 (as of July 2025)

Shaashvat Gupta: Started offline training with him in June 2025 when he was 1716. His current rating is 1997 as per August 2025 FRL

Anthony Arias: I started working with him in June 2024. Within five months, he gained 250 points on his Chess.com rapid rating, reaching a rating of 1825. (Training is paused for few months)

Nishant Jawalkar: We worked together from December 2021 to March 2024, during which he gained 850 FIDE rating points, increasing from 1098 to 1954.

Quang H - We actively worked together from January 2024 to May 2024. In that period, he gained 410 chess com rapid rating points. (540 to 950)

Lichess User: I worked with a lichess user Mahakadi from Nov 2023 to June 2024, He increased 250+ rating points in those months. on 2nd July, his peak rating reached to 1933 from 1650 when we started.

Yug Naik: I trained him from December 2024 to March 2025. Within 4 months, he gained 130 USCF rating points reaching 1652 rating

Other experiences

Other than chess I have helped various chess academies and chess coaches to grow their online presence through organic marketing. I have written 100s of chess blogs as a freelancer. You can check my recent blogs on my lichess profile.

✔️ Ability to find weaknesses of the students (Obviously it takes atleast decent number of classes to understand each other)
✔️ I have coached national champions, FIDE-rated improvers, and adult tournament players, guiding them to break rating plateaus and achieve their chess dreams.
✔️ Providing suggetions of chess books and courses without any hesitation to save student's time
✔️ Building mini opening repertoire with students based on there likings
✔️ Honesty in Teaching. It's more important than everything
