Hello,
I played too much blitz and bullet recently. Now when I am playing rapid (10+5), I find it hard to slow down and when I am playing slowly and the time gets below 30 seconds, I panic and play fast (even thought I have 5 second increment) which leads to me losing.
How do I avoid this?
Thank you in advance.

@Jiyaochani you are facing the same problem as i was facing few months ago . its really tough to overcome this "habit" but only thing you have to do is be playing for months and avoid that as much as possible only then you can be a good chess player .
what i basically did was left chess for few weeks and until then started playing OTB with whomever available . later i started playing few classical games and then switched to rapid ... this actually helped me but not fully cured .

Managing time and the ability to keep calm when under time pressure just take practice. A rule of thumb is take the total time control you have and split it into roughly 4 parts. 1/4th time for opening play, 2/4 for middle game, leave 1/4 for endgame. If increment exists give a little less on endgame and add more on opening play. But practice makes perfect.
