A lot of people write messages in the forums .We get emojis from people who read them. But i think that it is really not that important how many emojis you get.Doesnt mean your message was bad.what is your opinion ?

You be the judge of that
I love emojis do NOT make fun of my emojis

I love emojis do NOT make fun of my emojis

Emojis reflect more on the giver than the receiver.
Some people are positive, encouraging and tolerant of disagreement or difference.
Some people are, uh, less positive and made uneasy by disagreement or difference.
A poster displays his or her traits by the writing.
An emoji bestower displays his or her traits with the emoji.
Both communicate -- although sometimes not what was intended.
I am drawn to people who are encouraging and tolerant. I think most people are. But I could be wrong, certainly. Perhaps emojis will provide some evidence.
I'm sorry if that presents a dilemma for some.

Didn't you recently create a thread complaining about not getting enough positive ratings for your posts – and wondering if the quality of your writing might be to blame?
This thread gives me the impression that you're trying to do some kind of therapy by convincing yourself how unimportant other users' ratings of your posts are to you.
Am I wrong in my assessment?

A positive kind of emoji is very important if you get this message from your wife: "Dear John, we need to talk"
If there is no little smiley or the like at the end of that, well...that means you got downvoted, son :)

If you're going to go down that road, why stop there? Zoom out a bit: the message itself is not that important; Lichess is not that important... Heck, chess itself, GAMES even are not that important. You could go on and on, but I don't want to trigger anybody.

I guess they are important to some, others are indifferent, some seemingly don't use them at all, some enjoy the thrill of receiving them for the fun of it, others enjoy a form of validation, a lot seem to enjoy the giving and or receiving of Emojis as a human interaction via text and Emoji to create friendships due to being on the same wave length as certain friends on here I guess. Personally I enjoy using and receiving them, no matter what ones are used, as, (hey,.. we're communicating!), something I find very important to life, more communication, even if often times it's jokes or exchanges of opinion. :)

You are wrong. This will sound arragont but i know i write creatively and the problem is that people dont think so.I dont care though. It is a fact that i dont put much effort to it when i write but that shouldnt be the criteria
