In the much-awaited highlight match of this round, @jd162191 defeated @KingLover77 to take sole leadership of our Tournament of Champions ranking. The four closest pursuers, all with a score of 3/4, are now @KingLover77, @penpalrdro, @fafic and @AVIKTORA55, who won a very intense match against the title holder @Igoka60. Four other players are on 2 points, and they are still in with a good chance of reaching the podium in what is shaping up to be an increasingly enthralling competition.
With two rounds to go, anything could happen: we look forward to seeing you next Saturday to find out what surprises the chessboard has in store for us!

The final round of the Champions Cup was more breathtaking than ever: a real cliffhanger! After three incredibly intense hours of play, everything was decided in the last moves.
Ultimately, it was @KingLover77 who became the new Champion of Champions, concluding the tournament with a score of 5/6 and a performance rating of over 2200. Warmest congratulations!
Applause also goes to runner-up @fafic and third-placed @AVIKTORA55, who both played brilliantly throughout the competition. Very well done!
The tournament has been truly exciting from start to finish, with plenty of twists and turns. A big thank you to all the players who made it possible, especially for their friendliness and sportsmanship, both of which are highly valued and appreciated in our community. Kudos to everyone!
Qualification for next year's edition will officially begin very soon, namely on December 21st with a special Arena event, followed immediately by the Holiday Cup.
