My knowledge of paypal is that you do find out that is behind the account, and I doubt they're going to bring their families into it.

For a small prize fund of EUR 15 they're giving away their identity. Those who cheat prefer to remain hidden behind an alias.

Maybe name and shame the real names behind those accounts?

Hi, I think the number of cheaters has increased lately.
They probably create another account, but I think they should be considered first in reports.

I have no idea if cheating has increased lately. Maybe there are more apps around that have made it easier to do so secretly.

There is an app that lets you point at your screen and it will load the position it sees and give you engine analysis. Obviously with that technology, it should be possible to write one that continually watches the screen and tracks the moves for you thus giving you a "live" update of the evaluation and best move any time you glance at it.

That makes cheating at fast time controls far easier, as well as "part-time" cheating.

So yes, the better the opportunity, the more people will try using it, albeit it defeats most of the purpose of playing, and I'd expect it to be more likely to be used in Titled Tuesday on that other site than in some amateur event on here.
