honestly i expected to be released on 1-1-2023 as a gift for the new year..

They literally banned me from Discord for asking this. There's a lot of heating when you discuss this topic, things are definitely not going well about it.

Assuming you are who I think you are, you just got banned for insulting people. Though constantly asking when it's going to release isn't helpful either. Or rather, it's extremely annoying and at some point it just becomes rude.

Anybody can publicly see what is being worked on on https://github.com/lichess-org/lila and as one can see there, Thibault hasn't been working on it recently since he's been busy with other stuff. But Lichess doesn't have deadlines or stuff like that anyway so nobody ever knows when stuff will be done. It's just going to get released once it's finished.

If you look closely I was the one insulted in the first place. I was even planning to work on Lichess' codebase, it's all gone now.
