We reached a total of 8 accepted registrations this year. We Are using double-elimination rules cuz we have 8 ppls
The match format for the 2025 RQWC is: 6 games of 3+2, and whilst both players can stop the match as soon as a decisive advantage (3.5 points) has been reached, it is also possible to fully complete the 6-game-series. If a match ends in 3-3, then pairs of two 3+2 games will be played until the score is unequal after an even number of games. In case the score reaches 5-5 the same procedure is repeated with the time format changing to 1+0.
As soon as you read this, please follow these steps:
- Contact your opponent and offer at least 3 match times over 2 days in UTC, see time.is/UTC if you don't know your timezone.
- If you agreed on a match time, please post the time in this thread. Otherwise message @chen-rcc.
- Play your match.If you wanna Break, Please dm @chen-rcc.
- Post the result, and a link to the first game in the match results thread: (https://lichess.org/forum/team-racing-pawns-wc/2025-rqwc-match-results). Otherwise message @chen-rcc.
- Wait For @chen-rcc to check fouls and let you play again or not.
- Wait for your next pairing to be announced.
