I completely agree
I completely agree
this is absolutely 100% spot-on Cyber! Just say it like it is.
No one seems to want to use their brain or creative writing talents these days, people have got lazy and it is a scourge in our culture and sadly also on our website.

If I had a nickel for every time someone's posted a blog full of AI-generated slop (i.e. full of emo dashes and 'it's not just x, it's y' phrases) on this site, I'd be richer than Elon Musk could ever become, even by colonizing Mars.
This really needs to stop, as it pushes the REAL blogs (i.e. ones made by humans or blogs made by humans, edited by AI and the PROOFREAD and RE-EDITED by humans (to correct grammar issues and such)) further down the list and reduces their visibility.
Blogs used to be interesting.
Now? Not so much.

correct, and when ai is detected in a blog the blog should get a automatic deletion from the site, even if it uses a ai generated thumbnail

AI-generated thumbnails can be useful sometimes, I think.
But AI-generated text is just mindless droning about stuff the LLM doesn't really understand.

I don't think that there should automatic detection of AI-posts and deletion of them, but low-effort posts shouldn't be promoted. Besides to implement automatic deletion you would need AI to detect AI, it's little too much
@A0Coolboycolombo Yeah, I agree that AI-generated images can be useful, my thumbnail is AI-generated for that matter, in a way it's ironic, in a way I actually find this image to be cute

This is hard to disagree with.
Anyone want to try? :)

yeah but most people ( as human nature goes) have to abuse everything, and thus they overdo it.

Why do people even make blogs if they're using AI? Like, they're not sharing anything really of use, or that they've worked to discover, so the only reason I can even think of is that they're trying to get some attention. Somehow, a blog like https://lichess.org/@/shafen/blog/1-b4-polish-opening-why-amateurs-win-more-with-1b4-than-with-1e4-or-1d4/5N2VyomR which suggests that Black can play 1...Qb6, jumping across the c7-pawn, can get 4000 views and 100 likes...
