Always love your blog posts and the scientific/data driven style on looking at someones chess skills! I’m also an adult improver (started chess in 2020 with 33 years and running a chess TikTok channel) and in a few weeks I will play my first OTB tournament.
Any chance you will publish an „algorithm“ or KPIs for doing this deep dives with own games? Lichess also has a statistic feature which is pretty nice but I enjoy seeing all this graphics from you
Best regards

Highest degree people who are still so dumb that they fell for the COVID-19 scam. There can be little to no doubt that this gullible fool also injected himself with a bioweapon. The covid jabs will kill BILLIONS over the next 10 years. It will be blamed on random illnesses, but with "vaccinated" mosquitos flying around, and the hydrogel bioweapon found in most foods and pretty much every pharmaceutical poison, this is attempted annihilation of the human species.

Unfortunately, exercises to work on defensive skills are harder to find than those that work on offensive skills.
Why not play games where you get attacked which you must defend ?
If you're worried about rating just play casual ...

It would be nice to be able to control the density and diversity of challenge situations in the same way we use puzzles.
There is a theme of defensive moves. But that is limited to tactical exercises I guess. Having defensive style might be as you say, at the game level, with long term associations between decisions and "rewards".
Yes casual frees the chess player in you!

AlphaGo was described as choosing the endgame it was most sure to win, not the one with the highest score. This is a nice principle for endgames - especially if you are up on material, don't hesitate to sacrifice extensively if you are sure you can win the resulting endgame.
