The line after dxc5 and allowing a recapture look very similar to my old repertoire with a6-b5, and it's very common for White to play either 9.Qe2 or 9.Re1 and not play a3. If you go for 9... Bb7, which I assume is what you want to do we get the exact same position, and lines after e4 b5 require preparation, cuz White will have to sac a knight.
Excellent blog, well presented.

Thanks for pointing that out, i definitely didn't look at these moves. What would you recommend, to allow the sac or maybe just castle instead of bb7?
Also against re1 i just found this cool line
nice post

Thats a crazy line. If I go back to 1...d5 I'll add that to my repertoire

Against Qe2 if you are prepared, allowing the sac should be free win, but you have to know the lines and plans on how to survive if White does something goofy.
Sometimes White does not play 5)Nf3, but develops the knight in e2, aiming to play moves like f2-f3 and g2g4., as they usually do when the c8 bishop is developed in f5, and can be attacked, but could be effective also if it remains at home.
yeah
This is good material. Great job!
Very nice blog. People who want to play c5 are likely to do so on move 3, as 3...c5 4.Nb5? Qa5+ is terrible for white. This move order is likely to transpose anyway, and seems very playable as the cool ideas in the independent 5.dxc5 line show.
