I only had the move 14 Qe4 in my catalan repertoire file, not 14 Rg1 or Bh3, but I avoid all of this anyway as I'm not a fan of grabbing the c4 pawn when white does not have a knight on c3. No one outside of a very strong GM is going to remember a mess like this. I also worked out with local client stockfish in this catalan line months ago, that instead of 11...Bb7, the immediate ...Ra7 is safer as this stops many of white's ideas--the h5 and g4 sacrifice is now completely bad since now 12 h5 h6 13 g4? Nxg4 is just awful for white, since the a7 rook does a much better defensive job than the bishop on b7. White has nothing better than 12 Ne5, then black can respond with ...Bb7 or ...Nd5, depending on desire, but 12...Nd5 is more principled (but not Bd7? h5!).
