Announcing My New, Upgraded Coaching Program!
Rated 2000+ FIDE and looking to improve? You'll want to see this.Introduction
Hello, chess friends rated 2000+ FIDE!
This isn't an ordinary announcement post...
Rather than telling you about my new program, I'd like to share some of the challenges that have come up for my students.
Challenge 1: Inconsistent Training
This can manifest in a few ways:
- Missing a weekly lesson, then having to re-learn the skill developed from the previous lesson 'from scratch' due to a lack of practice;
- Learning from numerous people who need to be more closely coordinated leads to more confusion than wisdom for the student. (This was one of my biggest frustrations when coaching privately a decade ago when, in some cases, I spent most of my lesson time helping students unlearn bad habits picked up from another coach.)
- There needs to be more accountability and direction to avoid erratic training outside of lessons or overreliance on a coach for improvement.
Challenge 2: Insufficient Volume Of Training
I realised in 2024 that I had underestimated how much you could impact someone's life and chess in just 1-2 hours.
At the same time, you don't become a chess master from one or two hours of chess training a week.
When your opponents are working hard, you have two ways to beat them:
1. Work harder than them; or
2. Work smarter than them.
How This Relates To My Program
My new program, 'The Chess Improvement Mastermind - ELITE', is my 'Done For You' way of working more intelligently on your chess.
I've just opened a 'beta' version of the program that will run from March 16 to April 20.
It's limited to FIVE students, closing on March 29.
Why Just Five Students?
The reason for this limit is that you'll be getting a complete system for improvement from me, combining:
- A recorded curriculum for getting to 2300+ FIDE;
- Daily training material from me;
- 24/7 access to me;
- A 'High Performance' Workshop from Apr 18-20, delivered by me;
- Three two-hour group lessons from me every second Sunday, 8-10pm GMT+7 time.
- Weekly 2-hour private lessons from me.
The price is premium, and so is the program.
I've held nothing back to help you improve your chess as much as possible.
This Isn't For Everyone
If I accepted anyone into the program, it would lose a lot of its value, and I would be stretched too thin, unable to do everything I can to help you improve your chess as much as possible.
I'm indifferent to whether you join - if you're not a good fit, someone else reading this post will be.
Please message me 'I'm interested' to start your application process for the program.
