I don't understand about 70% of what I just read. Which is weird, because it seems to be mostly written in English.
But the gist seems to be that things were bad and now they're better! Which is good and I like it.

@BroPlsFocus Completely correct. Balancing the costs, I still think it's a decent choice for a non-essential service. Worst case another disk fails while the RAID is degraded. Then it could even become a multi-day downtime. But at least we can always download the tablebases again from a third-party mirror.

Nice job indeed. I cant help wondering: why not just SSD everything? Yeah would cost roughly 10x more. And in absolute numbers maybe 4000 EUR (ballpark estimate in my head, so I might be off). That's not petty cash, ofc, still for Lichess it does not strike me as unaffordable...
