Design is always subjective but I'll try (beginner-PoV):
+ [16]button on top row for depth - does nothing when you click on it afaik, just shows "Stockfish 16"?
+ Bottom quarter of the screen shows the annotation or computer analysis of the game - old app has an different section for this, basically in the old app this part shows the 1-5 engine lines and you can click through them comfortably (bottom = best access on smartphone), new app it's more difficult to click through the engine lines on the top
+ this bottom section is waaay too small (on my phone it's like 10% of the screen so you have to scroll, especially for the computer analysis) e.g. it just shows wide enough to show "67% accuracy 82%" nothing else
+ old app you can switch engine-settings with a single click to settings (e.g. disable the arrow or show 5 variants) while everything is hidden in the top right corner in the new app
Also if you by accident click on the eval bar the variants just hide (almost same feature as "disable/enable engine 2nd from left on bottom row)
Old app shows depth and time directly so you know if the engine is "finished" or stuck
tldr: variants are the most important part and they are hard to access on the top part of the screen instead of the bottom

It doesn't matter. Any Link to tournament in inbox message is not clickable through the new app. While opening same message on site or in old app - they are, so it's not formatting issue or joining issue.
But eve i joint via site - game started, i can play a game in the new app. But once game over it has to be option to return to the tournament but it doesn't work. Unlike site or old app.
In my case - it was bundesliga, i don't play others

They should be clickable though, that is why I am confused.
Support for team tournaments will be added in the latest version which should land in the App and Playstore any day now.
