15+10 is the best online time control. It is the official time control like for the rapid World Championship.

Unfortunately quite rare in open rapid tournaments in our country as it does not allow fitting 9 rounds into one day. Therefore most have time controls somewhere between 10+2 and 15+3. :-( Another surprising moment is that while 15+10 has been the de facto standard for official FIDE rapid events for some time, the first DGT clock offering it as a preset is DGT 2500.
IMHO, 3+0...
Besides bullet, it is probably the most played time control.

"fitting 9 rounds into one day"

- Why 9 rounds? 7 rounds Swiss can accommodate up to 128 players.
In theory, yes. In practice, it doesn't work well. Of course there are extremes (I have even seen a 9 round swiss with ~600 players) but I certainly wouldn't recommend it. Perhaps it's because people (except few on the top) do not really care about their rank and only about rating delta and rating performance.
hyperbullet (30 sec chess). ultrabullet is 2nd, then 10+5 is 3rd, and 1+0 is 4th. blitz is so stupid why would you play blitz, either play stupid chess or real chess not some meh in the middle tc
I love playing quick games with no more than 5 minutes per player. I constantly play bullet games (1+0).
30+5
